Based on the previous knowledge of students.
Pose a set of complicated problems which needs the application of previous knowledge.
In buzz session the students are split into small groups for a specific period of time to discuss the given problem.
Reports of the result of each buzz group are then presented to the entire class and thorough discussion is stimulated.
Organisation of a buzz session
Divide the class into subgroups of 5 to 6 pupils and a representative is selected from each group to report their activities.
The group members are then asked to discuss the topic.
After a fixed time the representative of each group presents the summary of the reactions and discussions of their group before the whole class.
Unsolved problem if any are referred back to the concerned subgroup and again buzz discussion is conducted followed by representation of ideas in the whole class.
Finally the general group reaches consensus regarding the final solution of the problem.
