Need and Significance
A brief description about the relevance, the purpose, need and significance of the study should be included.
Methodology:
A description of the equipment/chemicals, methods and procedures used and experiments performed is given.
Data analysis and Interpretation:
The recorded observations and data is noted, analysed and interpreted under this section.
Findings of the study:
The findings from the study are given in detail in this section. Students can be taught to interpret their findings, comparing their results with other workers in the same field.
Bibliography:
A list of references for followers.
Appendix:
Students can insert any supplementary information in this section.
CRITERIA FOR A GOOD PROJECT
- A project should be purposeful and practically applicable to the daily life of the students with clear, well-defined objectives.
- The learning experiences gained during the progress of the project should be meaningful and useful.
- A good plan of action will facilitate fruitful learning activities for each member of the group.
- The project should be aimed at problem-solving. The teacher should be vigilant during the choice of the problem, as it should be within the scope and ability level of students.
- The project should be feasible in terms of material resources, lab facilities,library access,time limit and effort
- The level of complexity of the project should not be too simple nor very tough. Too simple a project does not prove much of a challenge to students, whereas too complex a project will put students off.
